I remember making my first websites back in college when it was cool to learn HTML and write everything from scratch. Before cloud-based was a well-known term, I completed visual projects as websites and turned them in via an email link. That was more than 15 years ago, before professors ever thought of asking students to do projects online; now it’s the norm. Back then, having a website was just for big companies and hobbyists—but today, you can’t be in any business without one.
